Terms of Service

1. The agreement

Shortner URL ("we", "us") provides link shortening, editable redirects, and link management at shortner-url.link (the "Service"). Using the Service means you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the Service.

2. Early access

The Service is in early access: features may change, break, or be withdrawn as we build. We work to keep links routing and to give notice of meaningful changes, but during this period the Service is provided "as is".

3. Your account

You're responsible for your account, your password, and everything filed under it. You must be at least 13 years old.

4. Acceptable use

Don't route links to, or use the Service for: malware or phishing; spam, scams, or deceptive schemes; content that is illegal where you or your audience are; content infringing others' rights; or anything that abuses, harasses, or defrauds people. Don't impersonate system paths, squat slugs at scale for resale, or attempt to disrupt the Service. We may disable links or accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

5. Slugs

Slugs are allocated first come, first served. Deleted slugs are retired and not reissued. Slugs aren't property and can't be sold; we may reclaim a slug in rare cases (for example, trademark abuse or impersonation), and will say so if we do.

6. Your content

You keep your rights in the destinations you link to and the labels and notes you write. You grant us the limited permission needed to run the Service: storing your links and forwarding visitors to your destinations.

7. Pricing

The Service is currently free. Planned paid tiers will charge for advanced features. Our stated intent, kept on the principles page: links filed during early access keep working without payment.

8. Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We're not responsible for the content of third-party destinations your links route to, nor for losses caused by downtime or by changes destinations make to themselves.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use after an update means acceptance.
