Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026. What we collect, why, and what we don't do with it. The Terms of Service are a separate page.
What we collect
To run the Service we collect: your account email and password (stored hashed, never in plain text); the links, slugs, labels, and notes you file; and basic technical logs — such as IP address and browser type — recorded when links are created or followed, kept for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
To operate the Service: keeping your library in your account, routing visitors, preventing spam and abuse, and contacting you about your account or material product changes. We don't sell personal information, and we don't run advertising.
Cookies
Essential cookies only: keeping you signed in and remembering basic preferences. No cross-site advertising trackers.
Link visitors
When someone follows a short link, we process the request technically (the lookup and the forward) and record basic logs for abuse prevention. We don't build advertising profiles of link visitors.
Sharing
Data is shared only with the service providers needed to run the Service (such as hosting infrastructure), or when the law requires it. Your library — labels, notes, and the list of what you've filed — is private to your account. The short links themselves are reachable by anyone holding them; that's their function.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Delete individual links anytime from your dashboard — their slugs are retired, not reissued. To delete your account and its data, contact us and we'll complete it.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, this page is updated and re-dated at the top before the change takes effect.
